MS365 import and export distribution lists to excel

I am currently in a mess of a task, I have to clean and maintain over 40 mail distribution lists in 365 (because it fucking keeps Contacts in the mailing lists even when you delete them).

 

Any ideas?

Any chance you can convert them to dynamic distribution groups instead? You'll need to use PS to set them up if you want advanced membership rules though; the GUI is pretty limited.

I am not sure, I will look into it. I managed to find a PS script to export the lists and import them from csv. PS side of MS365 seems interesting and much more comprehensive than I thought.

That should not be the case by design. If you remove members from a DL they shall not receive the emails if someone sends an Email to it.

Is the Environment Synced?
