Memory speed comparison

Which of these 2 DDR4 memories should I get for my i7-13700K? They are both for roughly the same price, also would I see big gaming performance increase from 3600 CL16 over the 2 below?

  • 3200 CL16
  • 3600 CL18

3600 CL18 is the faster of the two, so if they're the same price go for that. It's not much faster, but it is faster.

Not really. It would be faster, but at the same time the price increase for it is generally not worth it. 3600 CL16 is usually priced where it's only slightly cheaper than the faster DDR5, but significantly more expensive than 3600 CL18.

definitely not, can you see 1-3 fps difference at over 100?

go for cl18, if you're lucky you can overclock it to 16 easy.
