Cant Display Bios

mark_smith85

Hi All

Need some help, just got a new Alienware aw3423dwf but I cant get it to display either the splash scree or bios but displays windows fine.

MB is an Asus Strix x570e, Asus 3080ti connected via display port.

I've tried all the Display ports on the GPU and Monitor, All the HDMI ports on the display and monitor.

Tried me original cables and ones that came in the box.

If I had my 2nd screen connected (a little barrowch one for a monitoring board hdmi connected) the bios launches on there. Disconnected I cant see anything and launches straight into windows.

Any ideas what could be going on was working fine on my Acer x34p

the monitor turns on and off quite slow regardless, i've never gotten bios to work on it (using 2nd monitor instead), the problem is more prevalent when there are 2 displayport connected on the gpu.

I've had a bit more sucess now so on display port had to enable Picture in Picture.

HDMI also started to work after that.

It appears the monitor does not like the res the bios wants to run at the monitor cant display over display port
