Capture XBOX footage

Hi all, 

I have an XBOX series S but I do not have a PC.

I want to know about what is a good way for me to pay my game and record it at the same time so later I can upload it. 

 

Currently I have an external hard drive connected and it can capture game footage but I was wondering if a capture card would be better and what is a good capture card to use without a PC (I only have a Mac)

One of the highest rated card is the Elgato HD60 S+ Capture Card. Goes for about $190U.S. at Walmart.
