Computer wont post unsure of next steps

Recently replaced my Mobo from a Aorus X570 Elite Wifi to a MSI X570S Max Wifi. Old mobo was causing weird crashing issues. 
 

Swapped the mobo and when i tried booting CPU light came in red and wouldn’t post. Re-set cpu and tried again, same thing happened.
 

Just got a new Ryzen 9 5900x and swapped with old CPU. Having the exact same issue .. CPU light comes on red and wont boot. 

I have no clue what to check/do. I could really use your help, any ideas?

MSI x570s edge max wifi

Crucial P3 Plus 4.0 NVMe M.2

Seasonic PSU 850watts

Geforce 3080

Bequiet CPU cooler (air)

have you tried updating the bios? that mobo has a bios flashback function that doesnt require a cpu to flash, so that would probably be the first place to start
