I upgraded my CPU and am having issues now.

I upgraded from a 10400f to a 10700f. I am typing this from my computer, so it works and the CPU is recognized in task manager, but my USB ports are randomly phasing in and out of working. I also am experiencing frequent stutters in games and really low 1% lows. I had none of these issues with my prior CPU. Any ideas of what could be causing this? I'm using the Gigabyte b460m DS3H AC-Y1.

I woke up my PC from sleep and the USB ports are randomly losing power for a few seconds again. Any ideas?

Make sure the cooler isnt over tightened. Try going into the bios and disabling any usb power saving features, if there are any.

You should get hwinfo and look at the frequencies and temps while gaming.

Please help. The USB ports turn on and off for about 15 minutes after booting and then work normally. What could the issue be?

The USB ports no longer shut off, but it takes longer to boot now and I've gotten repair messages.
