Mid ATX - AMD Ryzen 5 3600X, GeForce RTX 3080 10GB, Fractal Design Meshify C ATX Mid Tower - PCPartPicker

I am currently thinking getting a 5600X but would like to hear other opinions and my resolution is 1440p if that matters. I haven't been keeping up on CPUs recently. Let me know if there are any questions.

To not bottleneck the 3080 I'd recommend the Ryzen 7 5800X3D.

The cheapest - 5700X. I would not recommend a 5600 or 5600X as an upgrade to the 3600x, it's the same number of cores.

Budget (including currency): USD

Country: USA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: csgo, god of war, horizon zero dawn, league of legends, call of duty ( a little bit of everything)

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Here is the PC partpicker of my current build

Oh ya that's on the list of things to do before I put in the new CPU. I am not missing out on anything technology wise by not getting a new motherboard am I?

Nothing important, just PCI-E 4.0.
