PS4 about to go out the window

Hi all,

 

Im trying to get my ps4 to change from nat type 2 to 1/open. ive tried port forwarding and DMZ on this router, a huawei Echolife HG8045Q and im getting nowhere, except maybe about to toss the thing out a window.

 

any help will be appreciated.

Why do you need to change nat type?

 

If its because it gives a better gaming experience its basically bs. Youd get like a 1-2ms differnece if even. All whilst compromising your entire network.

at the moment wifi, cant exactly run a cable through the house, wife approval factor = 0

Try with a cable could very well just be the wifi as the ps4 doesnt exactly have the best wifi

Ugh, either tame the dragon or try using one of those Ethernet over power line adapter
