Viability of wall mounting a ThermalTake P3?

I've never done an open case, nor a wall mounted one, but looking for something different in the next build. The Desk PC thread triggered my thought process and I recommended wall mounting in that thread, but then got to thinking....

 

The ThermalTake P3 is a great size and layout for my needs, but I am curious how well a 6900XT will cool without  true airflow, or if a 360mm AIO will push air properly thru the radiator with that weird mesh backplate of the case.  Looks half solid, I'm concerned air wouldn't flow well.

 

I'd end up with something like this with much less RGB, but the layout is what I would go with.   I would like to shoot for cooling on par with a Define R6 as that is my current case and I know how it performs.

So the p3 is basically hollow and full of mesh.

 

It also has standoffs for rads so you can push air through the mesh and the sides.

 

A p3 is perfectly fine to hang up it has plenty of mounting holes for that and is officiallt designed for it.

 

 

Its basically an open air case so it will work fine for the gpu removing the glass panel does help an extra bit.

DeepCool LS720 360mm

EK 360mm AIO Basic

Arctic Liquid Freezer II 360mm

 

Or are they all the same and I just choose looks?

The freezer is best, then ek and skip the deepcool

Gotcha.  Been looking for the Arctic Liquid Freezer II 360 for a week now.  Nowhere to be found.

 

May have to grab the EK Basic.
