Adding another ‘Pictures” Drive.

I’ve just filled a 6tb HDD with pictures. I could almost certainly delete over half of them, but I am just too lazy and would rather be out with the camera than sat at home deleting stuff for hours on end. Is it possible to extend the pictures meta folder over multiple drives, or is it better to just archive my older stuff and just stick to using the 6tb drive. And yes, I do have external backups of everything and best shots archived online too.

I think you would need to make a spanned volume first. Then you can point your pictures folder to whatever folder in that spanned volume.

If you are talking about Windows Pictures "folder", it's actually library that can include several folders.

Yep, that is what I wanted to hear. I suspected it was just a meta device rather than a folder. I’m used to this in mainframe and Linux world but not played so much in windows.
