Windows 11 Version 22H2 is ready for your PC.

You could disable secure boot and/or TPM 2.0 in the BIOS and your PC should not meet the requirements to update.

(Note: Do not disable TPM 2.0 if you use full disk encryption or anything else that stores keys in there)

Ok guys, the other day after i moved my parts to the new case and started everything, instead of the familiar desktop, i was greeted by an "offer" to upgrade to Windows 11 for free by Microsoft. Since i haven't seen a single system where it works w/o problems i refused to upgrade and now i looked at my notification bar and the update is there, waiting for me restart my PC to install itself. How can i prevent this from happening. I don't wanna go through fresh Windows 10 inatall again.

will try that in a moment.

Edit:

it worked and now managed to delete the downloaded update. Not cool MS, really not cool.

windows 11 is honestly fine at this point, at least imo. it had a few bugs in the beginning, but they have mostly been ironed out, at least in my experience. i still recommend staying with 10 if you don't have any good reasons to upgrade, but just saying.

I see, because I had H22H2 but it was only asking if I want to download it, so I clicked pause updates until I couldn't clikc it anymore
