using 1.0 instead of 1.5 thermal pad ?

dear wonderful people, I have laptop  msi gv62 8rd according to search My laptop have mixture of 1.0 and 1.5 thermal pad?  I was wondering can I use 1.0 thermal pad replacement for 1.5 or should I buy 1.5 thermal pad too?

If the manufacturer specifies they use 1.0 and 1.5 pads I'd use those.
If you use 1.0 on places where 1.5 is needed you can run into bad contact issues resulting in parts getting hot and maybe even overheating.

if using only one size was an acceptable option, the manufacturer would have done so to save on part count.

 

get the appropriate sizes.
