Dualshock 4 on PC touchpad drifting

DavidTheWin

Hey, I'm using inhexSTER's DS4Tools to connect my ps4 controller to my pc but the touchpad is having what I'd consider an issue but unfortunately looks to be normal behaviour. It seems like it has some sort of cursor "drifting" built in, where the cursor carries on moving for a little while after you stop your finger. Is this normal? Is there a fix if not?

If it was normal touchpad I'd say its dirty. But since controller I bet on driver/compatible issues.

Well I thought that too at first but it doesn't seem glitchy at all, it seems like a very deliberate design choice. It's a very controlled deceleration that's consistent every you move the cursor.
