Is this a good first time budget gaming pc (I’m new to pcpartpicker)

Budget (including currency): $950

Country: US

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Warzone series, rust, streaming, Roblox Minecraft cyberpunk ETC

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): https://pcpartpicker.com/list/gtCvk9

the questions I have now is should I change the case? It’s like $92 now, and I want rgb

However my main concern is this.

So since I’m a new pc builder, I have a brother and a father who will help me, However I’m worried I might screw up my first PC build, or not understand something, or maybe perhaps not have the correct tools for it.

What happens if I DO end up screwing up my PC and then I break something or something goes wrong with hardware, What would happen afterwards?

And what are my chances of screwing something up with the hardware?

Very good list from a noob, congratulations 👏!

There's really close to 0 chance you break something, just take care of properly placing the CPU,

Then the hardest thing is to install the cooler, and the stock Intel one is very easy to install!

After that it's just about screwing some screws and plugging some cables ..

And even then hardware parts are really robust... Personally I suck at all manual precise work, but managed to build and upgrade several PCs, and even install a GPU watercooling, without breaking anything else than the GPU latch on the board..

Only important tip: get a good screwdriver with all needed heads, either from LTT or iFixit

System : AMD R9 5900X / Gigabyte X570 AORUS PRO/ 2x16GB Corsair Vengeance 3600CL18 ASUS TUF Gaming AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX OC Edition GPU/ Phanteks P600S case /  Eisbaer 280mm AIO (with 2xArctic P14 fans) / 2TB Crucial T500  NVme + 2TB WD SN850 NVme + 4TB Toshiba X300 HDD drives/ Corsair RM850x PSU/  Alienware AW3420DW 34" 120Hz 3440x1440p monitor / Logitech G915TKL keyboard (wireless) / Logitech G PRO X Superlight mouse / Audeze Maxwell headphones

Thank you for the info! I keep hearing about how I should be very careful about CPUs, but I have some anxiety issues such as power supply cable management, my slight ADHD might screw sumn up

It just gets me anxious seeing all the things on motherboards 😅

Also are windows installations easy?

Your PC will have very few cables with no SATA and only 2 fans from the case, don't worry

PSU cables are really sturdy you can't break anything there

thx for the info I can’t wait to make this PC cause I never had a gaming PC I only ran on a HP Something and it couldn’t even run Roblox at 20 fps at lowest graphics after a BUNCH of power outages ruined it. Use to be able to run fine for my PC

But this time imma have a power surge cable and this is gonna be my first ever time playing on a gaming PC 😄

Considering that we are still talking about aspects of one build, and your other threads were active and under 1 week old, there's no reason to have 3 threads on this.

Also, I personally would stay away from anything Asrock, generally not very high quality, at least Asus is somewhat decent.

In a month? By the time you decide to buy, prices would change again, best to plan a week before actually buying.

It's a fine case, but you could get This one which has more fans included and is a bit nicer imo or This one which is similar while being cheaper

Would this be amazing setup to play At around 180 fps 1080p high or sumn? Like really top tier performance 100 fps every game something like that

Please tell me you're not going to put a 6700 XT based system on a 1080p monitor. You can just render the competitive games you want to play at 1080p for highest framerate but for single player games like God of War, Red Dead Redemption 2, Cyberpunk 2077 look pretty mindblowing on 1440p and a 6700 XT will handle them great.
