Can we just sit and talk about evga mouse?

theelitegamer

(incase you haven't heard) EVGA coming out with a carbon fiber mouse, which is sweet but isn't it going be too expensive? What's your input on this?

True, I'm going admit it isn't the prettiest out of them all, but it's small and light, which is the top things you need in a FPS shooter

I don't like how it looks. Maybe if it was a flat colour or something. For some reason it reminds me of some Corsair mouse probably, but I can't seem to know the name for it. I would get it if it came with their PSU for free (their PSUs are pretty good btw), but I'm not too interesting in this one.

Looks like, well, not very good. EVGA is sticking there fingers in so many pies, I know it's good to have your fingers in a few, but no point if your product looks like a plasticy carbon fiber rap piece of crap. Not digging it, I have to say.

Carbon fiber! Aluminium! Silver! Omron! Lasers! Weights! Height!

They haven't made a mouse, they've made a toy with a list of marketing bulletpoints to make people who don't know any better go "oooh!"

$120 seems cheap. Having spent a lot of time in the car modification community, CF is VERY expensive to create without disruptions or imperfections in the weaving/texture. However I will admit that CF tech has been increasing exponentially and the price of production is lowering every day.

I do admit im a sucker for the look of CF i love the look of it but id much rather have it imitated rather than the actual thing if its going to put the price up for example dbrand skins look the same no where near the cost.

Because its cheaper to make and also real carbon fiber in a mouse is pretty pointless seeing as they even said it does not cut down on weight so its just for looks pretty much.

Fake carbon fiber would make a lot more sense in this situation.
