Can you provide any guidance for doing this within Virtual Box? Ive looked for options like that but all it give is ones to use Virtual HDDs

Sounds like this is a bit of an involved process on virtualbox. I'm not a VB user myself, but found those links with a quick google:

https://www.serverwatch.com/guides/using-a-physical-hard-drive-with-a-virtualbox-vm/

I am trying to figure out if it is possible to run a virtual machine within Linux (Ubuntu) of a drive with windows already installed to it instead of using a virtual hard disk?

I've tried searching for info about it but Google doesn't seem to understand what I am actually asking for and just returns results about running a normal VM.

Thanks

Yes, it is, you just need to use the disk that windows stall lies on as your boot disk instead of creating a disk image.
