My Fingerprint sensor on my laptop doesn't work anymore after getting windows 11 update

It says that the Fingerprint option is unavailable ( something went wrong. Try again later) even though its supposed to work becuase it worked before now it doesn't work and I really need help on how to fix it

Could be a driver issue.  Hard to know though.  Your error logs may say at least what went wrong.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.
