What values should I set?

My CPU is i5 10400f and yes it does not overclock but I heard altering.the time the CPU runs in turbo mode 

Yes I know it can make them run hotter and my cooler is CoolerMaster hyper 212x 120mm fan plus 6 more running 1500 rpm. 

It's long duration power limit +maintains and short duration power limit best values for i5 10400f.

Long duration for ...28 sec isn't much, up to which value can't you push it up to ?

And if you have a good cooler you could set the power limit to more than 65W say 100W, check the thermals and adjust as needed

Long duration time just set it as high as possible, same for power limits, 10400f arent really power hungry or put out much heat anyways so just crank the limits and the cooler should handle it fine (max 90c, expect more like 70-80 under full articificial load)

Just set everything to max or maybe just set intel thermal velocity boost aka TVB

It can go to 128 but I want to know what the maximum for the other two settings is without losing any performance and damaging the hard work what would be the maximum value for the other two power modes of P1 and P3

No value will damage anything, you chip will never  be able to use 200W or get to 150C lol

So put max boost time, 105W power (should be above the max wattage the chip can use), and just check your thermals but it should be good with any decent aftermarket cooler

The max power draw for the 10400F is only about 125W, so setting both values to 128W should give you maximum performance. If you have a Hyper 212 on there, it should be plenty sufficient to handle the heat unless you have an ambient temp of 40C or something - then you might get to TJmax.

 

Just push all power limit settings to their max. The CPU should then boost to 4.0 GHz for all core loads indefinitely.

Hmmm I didn't think a 12400 could get as high as 125W, as my 12 cores 5900X can't get above 215W (underclocked, max boost, @4.5 GHz all clocks)

128s is timer on how long boosts stay the other 2 short and long term wats should be 125 wats?

Think i found the issue. MY BIOS i updated latest for my B560 bazooka 1200 board and went from A6 to A4 seems hell of a lot smother so far, post back day or 2 with update

Im trying my old mobo im thinking my new board is bad.

Still getting black lines after swapping to my other motherboard and stuff I think either 1 ram - psu but used it for 2 years and monitor. Currently doing 15 passes with windows memory tester.
