This goes 1 of 2 ways. Either Apple includes USB-C on the iPhone 15, or they keep the 15 on lightning and go portless for the 16. 

 

I have a 13 Pro Max and its great, absolutely no reason to upgrade right now. But if the 15 would enable me to bring 1 charger brick and cable in my laptop bag, that would be great.

You know what really drains my battery?

Chargers and power supplies. 

The EU wants to force apple to use a teeny tiny USB C cable instead of a teeny tiny lightning cable, but does jackassfuckall about the 50 different laptop, mini-PC, docking station, NAS and monitor chargers/power supplies with longer, thicker cables and power bricks with LEDs that you can not turn off. 

Lenovo alone has like 4 different connectors, and they are among the better ones.

All the chargers not only have a different wattage, which is understandable, but also a different connector, different volt rating, different AMP rating. Just standardize 19v and use different amps/watts.
