Best VPN/ PIA

Amintech
Go to solution Solved by manikyath,

if i recall, it was something about PIA being aquired by a party who really rasies suspicion. there was no direct reason to no longer trust PIA, but they decided that it's best to end it there rather than to watch it crash and burn.

on the topic of a VPN provider... any provider that doesnt keep logs / is incorporated in a region that has a lot of (political) freedom on the aspect of keeping logs.

Anyone know what happened between LTT and PIA. They stopped being a sponsor and I saw that they don’t conduct third party inspections, but Linus had said after careful consideration he believed it was the best.

conclusion is it the best VPN or would you recommend nord.

I still have a yearly subscription to PIA. I believe they were recently audited by a third party and allegedly no logs were found. So yeah, I still recommend PIA.

With PIA being dubious now…

They are nothing of the sort. That whole thing with their buyout was nothing more than your standard internet lynch mob that did nothing more than form opinions based on sensationalized, misleading, click-bait headlines without looking into the facts of the matter. Also, an independent audit was done.
