is my monitor dead?

antimatterdynamite

this is totally hardware afaik: turned on the "deepsleep mode" on my pg27uq this morning, it went to sleep and now no matter what it wont turn on - no OSD no backlight ... i can't think it's a coincidence it happened just as i turned on a feature which apparently makes the monitors take ages to start... but mine didnt have any change all day. is it possible to reset the monitor setting somehow? this feels like it should be fixable it's just no matter what i tried it wont work...

things i tried:

1. turning on with no cabels attached

2. turning on with both a displayport or hdmi signal ready

3. drain any capacitors by keeping the power button pressed

"If the monitor cannot wake up after going into deep sleep, do one of the followings: - Press any button (except the power button) on the monitor to wake it up. - Disable the Deep Sleep function. (Recommended)"

Taken from the manual.
