Z690 vs z790

I was just wondering what the difference between the z690 and what z790 has to offer that will be new and what makes z790 better compare to the z690 chipset

An extra USB 20Gbps port and some more PCIe lanes from the chipset. For 95% of people, the difference is negligible and not worth the extra ~$100-200 for the motherboards.
