Windows 10 has failed to install from windows 7

lilboogieboi

Whenever I try to upgrading my computer from Windows 7 to windows 10 via the media creation off Microsoft's website the installation gets up to the point where it's one a blue screen telling me that it's installing windows ten but after it reaches 100% it just returns me to the desktop screen saying windows 10 has failed to install.

If anyone can help me troubleshoot this issue or knows of the issue and a way to fix it that would be much appreciated.

I wouldn't recommend upgrading you OS.
Go the clean route and freshly install your system of of a USB stick.

You don't want to have old garbage on your system. I also have heard of people who bricked their Data trying to use the upgrade function.
Backup your Data.
Make a USB stick bookable using RUFUS or the CMD by using the Diskpart command.

(my preferred option because it always worked for me)

Get a Windows 10 ISO

Open it in the Windows Exporer
Copy all the content form the ISO to your Bootable USB stick.

restart PC and boot of USB stick

Install Windows 10
