Looking for feedback on Asus Vivobook 15X Oled

Rovky

Hi, I been in search for a laptop in case one day I do get a chance to own one. I was looking at M1503QA-R75AOHDSB2 aka Asus Vivobook 15X Oled.

It says it is power by a Ryzen 7 5800H with 512GB SSD and 16GB of RAM.

From what I found it has 100% DCI-P3 each is a requirement for what I need.

Is there any drawbacks that should I be aware of?

I  have a Asus  ASUS Laptop 2022 VivoBook Pro 14" 2,8K OLED DCI-P3 0,2ms Slim Laptop, Intel Core i5-11300H, Harman/Kardon Audio, KB retroiluminado, Iris Xe Graphics, Certificado TUV, Thunderbolt 4, Webcam (8GB RAM | 1TB PCIe SSD)

I think on this one the best is portability, batery time and Oled, if you work with editing or grafic design on lighter software this is tge right laptop. The screen is grate and been TUV certify you can have good color representation on screen.

Definitely the Oled 2.8k display is grate, but I would not use for gaming or softwares that demands a lot. By not having a dedicated GPU you loose a lot. With the Thunderbolt 4 you could use a external GPU but you will loose portability on that. If is a internet, travel, light work and not too demanding tasks you good.

The bad part is not have a extra slot for memory which new models have, also the memory is solder on the motherboard and this was very disapointing to know after buy the notebook.

Maybe if you tell what will be your use and budget this can make it easier to specify your laptop.

Good luck!

Matt

The model he's looking at does appear to have a free RAM slot, despite having some on-board as well.
