Micro ATX for i7 3770k

Hello,

I am looking to downsize from an ATX to a Micro ATX but keep my i7 3770k CPU and 16gb of RAM. Is there a good not too expensive Micro ATX motherboard you would suggest?

A 3770K isn't too difficult to run. Is your 16 GB of ram 2x 8 GB or 4x 4 GB? Lots of options out there, so the biggest thing is availability in your local market.

Main: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D, Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti, 16 GB 4400 MHz DDR4 Fedora 38 x86_64

Secondary: AMD Ryzen 5 5600G, 16 GB 2667 MHz DDR4, Fedora 38 x86_64

Server: AMD Athlon PRO 3125GE, 32 GB 2667 MHz DDR4 ECC, TrueNAS Core 13.0-U5.1

Home Laptop: Intel Core i5-L16G7, 8 GB 4267 MHz LPDDR4x, Windows 11 Home 22H2 x86_64

Work Laptop: Intel Core i7-10510U, NVIDIA Quadro P520, 8 GB 2667 MHz DDR4, Windows 10 Pro 22H2 x86_64

There are more good boards than not so good boards. Look on the used market near you for a P67, Z68, or Z77 board (assuming you want to overclock, which you really want to do with a 3770K), see what's available, and just double check before making sure. If there's one thing about board prices that are consistent is that they aren't consistent, so a Maximus IV Gene near me might cost ~$50, yet near you that board might cost $200+ or vice versa.
