Computer turning on, but no output

Wakeup1378

I have recently upgraded my cheap second hand computer with new parts including motherboard, cpu, and ram. I also had a new graphics card however when I turned my computer on for the first time it didn't work. After replacing the new graphics card with my old one I plugged it into my monitor but got no output? The cpu fan is on, the case fan is on, the gpu fan is on? No signal, I have no idea what the problem could be and have tried reinstalling the ram and the cpu, and replughing all of the cables. I don't were the problem could be, if anyone has any ideas on how to solve whatever the issue maybe that would be very helpful and thank you.

My motherboard sadly has no leds

The motherboard is a Asus prime A520M-K

The cpu a amd ryzen 5 5500

The gpu nvidia quadro 600

and the ram crucial 32gb ddr4 single stick

Please ask if there are anymore important details that I should add.

See if there is a light or beeping from your motherboard. Most motherboards can tell you what is not working if you look in their manual. In this manual, you should also be able to verify if your exact ram, gpu, and cpu are compatible with the system. It could be as simple as upgrading your bios.

I don't think there is enough information here to fully be able to give you an exact recommendation. It may be helpful to provide your motherboard model along with exact models of old and new parts.

try 1 stick of ram ineach slot.

Also it needs a newer bos verion. You could flash the bios with a USB stick. I have never gotten it to work correctly on my motherbaords tho 😞

You should buy a cheap ryzen 3 3100. That will work on any bios version. Shoudl not cost more than 60-70$. And after the bios update woth the 3100, you can sell it for the same price that you bought it.

So do you think the problem is the cpu being to new for the motherboard?
