Dual monitor setup cables

I am using two of the same monitors and I have them connected via different cables. One via HDMI one via DP. Are there any benefits with connecting them with the same? Any resolutions and specific refresh rates, loading speeds? Anything?

Why would a different cable alter your load speed?

Loading has nothing to do with a monitor.

As for resolutions, different connections have different maximum resolution + refresh rate

depends what resolution and refresh rate your monitor is

Loading speed is same but normally DP version is much newer with bigger bandwidth which also means normally DP will able to run full refresh rate 144hz and above where HDMI may cap at 60hz.

This may not the case for never monitor release now as most of them already came with HDMI 2.1 which had higher bandwidth than DP 1.4 but still may happen HDMI unable to run maximum refresh rate due to cap by the manufacturer for some reason.
