GTX 780 EVGA 6GB Wont Flash

I have horizontal lines on a evga 780. I am trying to flash the bios using nvflash, but it wont let me. 

Whenever I do --protectoff, it will say eeprom protection function failed. When I flash the card, it comes up with

falcon reset control is disallowed. Does anyone know how to fix this?

 

nvflash version: 5.735

Microsoft display adapter has been disabled in device manager already.

Prolly need to try another version. And I dont see why you would disable it if its the only display adapter and thats what it shows up as.

Bios flash could fail if enough of the card isn't working. Especially since you see horizontal lines, that's a sign of dying/dead memory which could confuse itself on what it is. Protectoff in NVflash does not run around all the protection there is.

Not sure, I deleted all my software for it. But versions that were made after that card was released would be ideal. I had to try a few versions to make it work. But like mentioned, if the card has issues and it isnt being recognized, it isnt gonna work anyway.
