Side panel too tight on the PCI-E cables?

Fatty

Hello, I currently have a 6800xt inside this case, deepCool Matrex 50 mesh.

The case dimensions are: 442X210X479mm

Here is a pic ( it's hard to show because the side panel is reflective ofcourse)

Is the side panel dangerously tight on the cables?

the psu is EVGA supernova 750 GT

Looks fine from what I see.
I'd say it's not a problem unless you have to use force to get the side panel to close, which doesn't seem to be the case.

I do actually need to do that, that's why I was worried, I searched for other more expensive cases and they are all 20-21cm wide as well, I don't really want to pay x2 the price just for a slightly bigger case

Nah, it should just plunk down when you get it on there, if you have to push against it then there's a tolerance issue.
But as I said, it looks fine, the cables don't look kinked or anything.

As long as the cables do not get pinched, at least not hard enough to cause deformation on the cable, it will be fine.
