I don't know if iOS supports Google Drive, but if so, you could upload to Google Drive from the PC, then download from Google Drive to the iPhone.

I don't badmouth others' input, I'd appreciate others not badmouthing mine. *** More below ***

If it's just for watching on your phone, I'd use a tool like Handbrake to transcode it into a smaller H.264 MP4 file that iTunes will support.

You could also use an FTP client on the iPhone and an FTP server application on your PC to transfer the files without uploading them to a cloud service.

I sold my soul for ProSupport.

I use VLC media player App for this. Install the app on your iPhone and then Network->Sharing via WiFi.

Open the address on your PC and drag the files.

Make sure to turn it off after you are done with the transfer.

You can also transfer on itunes, with file sharing, once you have VLC installed on your phone.

It's way quicker for me. I wish you could transfer folders, but iPhone's don't work like that. Still one by one is quicker than doing all that on wifi. You should be able to go to the phone -> file sharing -> vlc -> add file.
