Im thinking about getting another lense for when i go to a convention later on in the month and i was wanting a lense with low apreture for night time photos i was looking at the sony fe 85mm f/1.8 but im not quite sure if it would be too big looking more for a 1.4-1.8 f lens with in a 500 pound aprox many thanks

What focal lengths do you use the most on the kit lens? Use that to find out what primes you want.

 

Id probably airm for a 35mm first as thats simmilar to 50mm on full frame or a normal focal lenth, but reallu depeds on your style of shooting.

I have the a6600 and the Sigma f1.4 set is pretty nice. I use the 56mm for portraits and am really happy with the results and low light performance. I do eventually want to build out the trio, just haven't gotten to it yet.
