open source Best remote camera for home

Hi to everyone. I'm looking to put some remote cameras with out subscriptions etc. Just wondering what's a good open source software  is. Also what's a good camera.

Use case matters with this.  No subscription means in house network.  So you’ve got to have a computer or other system to store the generated video as well as a way to connect and control them.  Poe can be quite popular for this.

  Things that will matter just for cameras:

connection type

-weather proof or not

-night vision or not

-resolution (costs go up fast with higher resolutions)

Yes in house network must be able to review remotely.

The camera will primarily indoors

Night is not a must but nice to have

480 should be good
