Question bout older components and newer motherboards

i got a msi Radeon 5450 in my current computer set up and i plan on building a new one soon just wondering if it work on newer motherboards until i have the money to buy one and also was wondering if older ram i got ddr3 will work in ddr4 slots until i get ddr4 which i doubt but I haven't messed with building a computer since 2011 / 2012 so limited knowledge even then i know enough just to put it together and get it running eventually i will have everything newish compared to what I have now cause when i built this back in 2011 / 2012 it was older cheapish parts but i plan on getting a motherboard and cpu first then ram and gpu just wanting to know if i could get it up sooner than later or wait till i have everything here first cause basically buying one part at a time when i have the money to spare

Your Radeon HD 5450 should work fine in a newer system, but if your new CPU has integrated graphics you would be fine without the 5450. No, you cannot use DDR3 in DDR4 slots. They're physically and electrically incompatible.

Then you should ask for a build in the  builds section. Plenty of people that can help you there well.

A hd 5450 is eclipsed by literally any integrated gpu of modern cpu's
