New Build For Desperately Needed Upgrade

Jello5354

Budget (including currency): $1500 USD

Country: US

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Part work, part gaming. Work will be running multiple virtual boxes and as for gaming, probably things like Warzone and Lost Ark and Apex.

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): https://pcpartpicker.com/user/jello5354/saved/QBtBqs

I am currently using an Acer TC-895 tower and as the title states, in desperate need of an upgrade. I currently have a Sceptre 1080p 144hz monitor and do not need keyboard/mouse. Appreciate any help/suggestions that you guys have. Thanks.

The list is private.

That said if you can get by with your current system just a bit longer, we're entering the launch season. AM5 will be announced by the end of the month, and Intel won't be too far behind, plus the RX 7000 series of GPUs will be announced sometime in October as well (there are so many conflicting rumors about the 40 series that I wouldn't want to wait for them). If you can deal with that system for just a little bit longer you can get a much faster system for the same price, or you can get the same system for a lot less when all that hardware goes on Clearance.

Need a better cooler indeed, and desperatly a better monitor, 23" 1080p 75Hz with a 6700XT ?? 😮

You need a nice 1440p monitor man 🙂

Also you can get a wifi board rather than a additional wifi card

Looking good! I would get a better case to be honest, unless you really like the look of that one. The o11 air mini is a great one, as is the Corsair 4000D Airflow

The cpu cooler overhangs the memory area so the lighting will be obscured.

Consider getting a better PSU.
