How should I cool an i5-12400F?

I heard that the boxed cooler is pretty good but I'm not afraid of spending extra money for a good cpu cooler.

So should I get an extra cooler and if yes which one?

Any 120mm fan tower cooler should get the job done.

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

id-cooling se-224-xt is cheap and should work well enough for that chip.

I've got this on my 11400F and it's cool as a cucumber.

I can't find a single offer anywhere for it

He literally linked you to Amazon. If you're in a country where you only have access to specific retailers, you need to tell us.

Use the quote function.

You can buy it right now for $24.99 from US Amazon at the link he gave you.

Once again, if you want people to recommend options available in a specific country or from specific retailers, you need to give them that information.

Yeah it will depend on your location. Some markets don't have some products, or the price is different. So need to know location.

No, do NOT upgrade the cooler if you are running the system stock without BCLK overclock. It probably won't break 70c on a hot day with the window open.

If your board has BCLK, and you are going to overclock, the stock cooler is ok for around 4.7 - 4.8ghz 1.20 - 1.225v (at least in my experience thus far) and that's done on the stock cooler load temps average about 85c.

Stock cooler can be a bit noisy though, so if you care about that, an inexpensive aftermarket cooler can help

Nah, not noisy at all. 49DB at 100% duty cycle. I thought it to be very quiet myself. Especially running the chip stock.

Loud is pretty subjective, so to each their own if 49db is a lot or not
