Pc wont boot after power outage

Ccotton

This exact situation happened 3 times already. Our area has a lot of short frequent power outages-it happened a while ago and now the pc wont turn on/no lights.

However the moment we bring it to the computer shop, everything works fine and boots normally. Im really not sure whats going on since the sockets work fine and all and we have a surge protector and ups with a gold rated psu to boot.

What happened last time this exact scenario happened is that it was apparently a mobo problem and we used its warranty already

Ryzen 3 3200g

Gtx 1650

Win 10 64 bit

Can you try plugging the computer to a different room?

Not a motherboard problem, the power grid where you live is the problem.

Buy a UPS and hook the PC to it,a good quality UPS should protect the PC from such outages.

Our ups is fairly new and doesn't seem yo have issues. How would our power grid make the pc not boot? Sorry not the most tech savvy

It's not the UPS if it doesn't work directly in a different outlet on another circuit without the UPS.
