Monitor Troubles

Hey everyone

 

I just purchased two new monitors, which I will use as an extension from my laptop for work, and then use both for my non-work stuff for my personal desktop. As you can see in the picture, I can't seem to get the image to line up from one monitor to the other through my work laptop. I tried DP first, resolution is the same for both monitors, etc.. then I tried HDMI, same result.

 

Here's the rub, for DP, I am running them both through a Dell docking station - it has 2 DP ports and 1 HDMI port. Then I tried running 1 HDMI from the docking station and 1 HDMI from the laptop itself. Am I missing something? Any help is appreciated

did you try messing around with the monitor positions in windows display settings? you can move the monitors up and down to get them aligned how you want them.
