Corsair XD5 pump/reservoir not pushing water anymore

Recently I finished a water loop and had it running great for a while. Though last night I decided to drain the loop to rewire some cables though now I tried to do my first fill to slowly get the liquid back in it can barley even push the water at all. It can't even make the first run out from the outlet port. 

 

I did have to tilt the PC to get air bubbles out of the pump I am hoping that wasnt the cause of this all.

 

The way I got the water out was lightly blowing through the end of my loop just an FYI which worked before and it didnt harm the pump.

could be air lock, u gotta keep tilting with only the pump running & loop sealed

imo dying d5 usually has clicking or grinding noise

 

r u using clear coolant?

I am not sure if Corsair's D5 is the same as others I have used since theirs are differently spec'd from standard D5's, but does it have both a molex and a PWM connection for the pump? If you are filling it up, you don't want to plug in the PWM yet or else it will run at a low rate. Just use the Molex only while filling and bleeding and it will run full speed.

 

See if that was the issue and check back. If it was, after you finish filling and bleeding, shut down and plug the PWM back into the port you want, hook up anything else needed and doublecheck your curve on that PWM connection is at a good level to allow adequate flow rate now that its filled.

I figured it out becasue my 4 pin fan connector was connected to the Commander pro it made it slower LOL
