What psu? Can you give us the model? 300w is not enough info.

With a goos quality unit its possible IF it isnt beinf pushed to the limits AND has the needed connectors. There is also some no additional power gtx1650s which can also work. IF its a good quality unit

Yeah probably.  OEM PSUs are usually extremely accurate with the ratings on the side, as they are meant for the OEM to use as an exact metric as opposed to being a marketing device.  What you're used to getting from a bottom-tier 500w you'd get from a 240w OEM PSU.

I edit the shit out of my posts.  Refresh before you respond.

GTX1050Ti is an up to 75 watt part, it can get all it needs from the PCI slot.

Some 1050Ti models come with an extra power socket normally because they have an over built cooling system, so the fan/ fans need more power than the card can pull from the PCI slot.

as long as you dont get a model with a 6 pin unless your psu comes with one?..  i have a HP pavilion with a am4 board, so a more modern one. ive installed a 310 psu which has a 6 + 2 pin.  havent tested a gpu yet,  but if yours has that cable then you should be able to go over the 75w limit,  but i would say dont go over the 100w as i suspect your psu would be designed differently than mine(these HP ones are 12v only).  best to find one and google it and look up techpowerup for details.
