Rgb hub help plz

So because my mother board doesn't have a rgb header on it I'm looking at getting the razor chrome rgb controller hub. So I'm wondering if it's possible to use a second hub not a razor but a more generic one and connect it to one of the fan/rgb header on the razor hub and it detect all fans on the over hub

generic hub is just a splitter. with some having the ability to add power. w/e connected to it will be the same color / animation
