Boot fail on AM4, but exiting BIOS w/o saving fixes. What gives?

Build in profile (Ryzen 5 1600, Gigabyte AM4 motherboard). Recently (within the last week), boots always fail, and I get the option to enter BIOS or load optimized defaults. Defaults don't help, and saving anything in BIOS prompts another failure to boot. Exiting without saving causes a successful boot every time.

Is my motherboard just failing? Should I get a new one? Could there be something else I'm missing in BIOS settings? Thanks in advance!

Try updating the bios. But pay close attention when they add 3rd gen "Agesa" code. You want to stay before that revision.
