Traded my extra desktop build for this Alienware X17 R2

I have an extra desktop with an 11th gen i9 11900kf, ryujin 360mm aio, 32gb ddr4 3200, 2tb ssd, strix rtx 3080ti, on a lian li o11 mini with unifans all over and strimer cables and 750w psu, that i don’t really use and just collecting dust in the office.

 

I found a guy that was selling a 4 month old Alienware X17 R2 with i9 12900HK, 32GB DDR5 4800, RTX 3080ti, 1TB SSD and offered to trade and he accepted. Found out this laptop costs almost $4k. Damn, what a good deal.

A good trade, some horsepower for portability (if that suits your uses.) Although I think that laptop might have some better resale value later on cause of the brand identity.
