What specs to look for in a CAD Laptop

Hi All

My company is currently looking into upgrading our work stations and i would like to know if there are any crucial specs I need to make sure are included on the new laptops.

these laptops will be used by Draughtperson's who will be using 2D autocad and Revit (3D program)... most of the time simultaneously.

More than enough! I am using Catia V5 in both 2D and 3D and my PC at work is only an i7 6700 with 32gb ram and Quadro K2200. The parts/assemblies I work with can be quite detailed and performance is always good.

Your config is A LOT better and if Revit is similar to Catia it will be very overpowered even.
