EVGA has been slashing prices left and right, so I'd just assume that card is a victim of that. That is a fairly weak cooler for a 3080 Ti, so you might want to be undervolting it, but at the same time it should still be a strong card. Just be prepared to be running the fan speeds closer to 100% than to 50%. It's sold and shipped by Amazon, so it should be real and everything.

With my current PSU i couldn't even idle the card, do you think others will start slashing as well?

Most Cards are going to be price cut until there is a demand. I think EVGA probably just sold a ton of 3090tis for 1149 and 1200, so they may keep it at that, the 3080ti will go down more as well as the 3080. Anything below that tier is still pretty much going to take a while to get cut down a ton in pricing.

Not as soon, and not as much. The high end, where most of the margin is for Nvidia, has the most room to slash prices. Lower end cards usually have pretty little margin, so they can't reduce price as much, and while they do have pretty strong competition on the low end, they have for a while and they just haven't seemed to care about it.

Do you think with the news and upcoming release of 4000 series they'll continue or just stop?

evga slashed rtx 3080(ti) and 3090(ti) prices on their cards (even after the official price drops from nvidia)
