I heard from a friend...

Go to solution Solved by tikker,

I do see threads about people encountering them to be iffy about mousepads, but I've been using a G502 Proteus Spectrum for years and it works just fine on my (cloth) mouse pad.

So, i have been looking into buying a logitech g502 recently and i asked my friend about it because he has one. He says that it does not work on a mousepad, is this a universal problem or is it just his mouse/mousepad? Thanks.

I am using G502 Hero and it works flawlessly on my desk/mousepad

The Logitech software even allows to make a calibration for your specific surface. I have used my G502 with multiple mouse pads, and with one of them it didn't work very well until I calibrated it, but after calibration it was perfect. Calibration is easy, you just need to move the mouse in circles for a couple seconds

G502 Hero does not even have it from what I have read it Auto Calibrates on the fly so there is nothing you have 2 do 🙂
