Please help me get chipset file for 12600K

Go to solution Solved by -rascal-,

That appears to BE latest Z690 chipset drivers (i.e. no patches / changes / updates).

It looks like Intel does not offer the chipset driver download directly.

Why are you looking for another (newer) chipset driver anyways?

Usually the patches / fixes are within the BIOS firmware updates.

That's why MSi has been rolling out a BIOS update for that board....basically on the monthly basis.

As title says, msi driver is outdated by 9 months and everywhere on the intel website isnt a clear file to download. Where can I get the most dated file? Its not like the amd website where it gives u the latest chipset file clear as day on intel website the "inf chipset utility" doesnt have z690 listed on supported versions. Please help

No z690 tomahawk ddr4 and the file is 9 months old, no where on intel site does it have the file name and the most recent one

What do you need a driver for exactly? You don’t really need drivers these days for mobo’s. Is something not working correctly that is leading you to believe you need a chipset driver?

Have they even been updated in the last 9 months? If there haven't been any issues then there would be no newer version, and that would explain why you can't find one.

You do, the OS just automatically installs them. Rest is correct though, you only need to search out specific drivers if you're having a specific issue fixed by it.
