AMD Ryzen 5 5600x running at high temps

lord_coconut

My CPU has started to run at high temps 90+c in tf2 and 60 in bios, so far I have tried to update my bios to the newest version, tinkering in bios and installing windows and appropriate drivers but none of that didn't seem to fix it

I have been thinking to buy some new thermal paste to see if that helps, but I want to wait a bit to see if someone finds a solution

specs:

OS: Arch

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600x

GPU: Asus TUF GeForce RTX 3070

RAM: Tforce 8x2GB DDR4-3200

Motherboard: Gigabyte B550M S2H

SSD: INTEL SSDPEKNW010T9 (1TB nvme)

Cooler: NZXT Kraken M22

have you checked everything is installed the right way, Fan is installed the right way. no air bubbles in the wrong position?

post a picture please

For a 5600X the M22 should be good, and never have 60C in BIOS !! Either it's badly installed or it doesn't work
