Whats the best gpu under $30?

The GTX 745 is probably the best value that's come up so far. There are several listed as Buy It Now for around $35.

The board is low profile, but the PCI slot bracket is full height. What you could do is take the VGA port off and just bend the top of the bracket over with pliers. It's a janky fix, but it's cheaper than a card that comes with a low profile bracket.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/225099995176?hash=item3469015828%3Ag%3AyFcAAOSwGiFi6F6R&LH_All=1 is this one good also if i break it off will it still work?

That's the same card, just in an auction listing instead of Buy It Now.

If the Sold prices are anything to go by, that auction is going to get bid up to around $35 after shipping anyway.

Yes the card will continue to work. You're just making the metal bracket fit your case, not altering the circuit board in any way. If you're that worried you can completely remove the metal bracket before changing it since it's just held on by the nuts on the DVI port. (You can also just stick the naked card into your PC, but then you'll have to be careful if you move the PC or plug things into the back.

I sold my soul for ProSupport.

I have done janky shit like this too.  Just run the card without the metal bracket and let the video cable itself be the "bracket" stopping it from flopping around too much.

These cards are really lightweight so you don't really "need" to have the bracket anyways.  It's just there to take some pressure off the pcie slot and keep it from bending but again...it's a really lightweight card here.  If it was a full size card the weight of the heatsink would snap the slot without the bracket.

The problem is that with a 200 watt psu your suggestion is impossible without a power supply upgrade at which point its going to cost way more than 30 bucks to go for your choice. Sure you can make suggestion that aren't useful but not sure why you would.

Nope, the metal bracket is to secure the card to the case. But you can remove it if necessary, shouldn't be a problem. Welcome!

The metal bracket as in the 16x  connection Or the mounting bracket, well neither, but I need clarification. No you don't cut either one to use it, that protects your outputs. On the back of the Case there should be a place to pop out or unscrew the metal thingy, and it'll sit like that

Why not get the 730 people linked for $35?  Is money that tight where this matters?  Do some chores, make a few more bucks and get something halfway decent.

If you can spend a bit more, try to get a FirePro W5000. The performance is comparable to a GT 1030 (a massive upgrade from pretty much anything else at that price point), but it usually only costs around 50$ on eBay.

FirePro is AMD's older workstation GPU lineup, similar to NVIDIA's Quadros. The W5000 is a fairly old card, but it's often sold for cheap, and it performs well as a budget gaming card. It's a lot better than most of the other cards people are suggesting, it's just slightly out of your price range.

(By the way, why aren't you buying the 1030 as soon as possible? That's actually a pretty good price for that card, if you already have the money on hand you should probably buy it)
