Looking for a good usb c to 3.5mm (or quarter inch) and charging adapter

MysticDragon

Looking for a good usb c to 3.5mm (or quarter inch) and charging adapter, the one I currently have is horrid.

No quick charging features, crackles when I ride my bicycle, randomly stops when riding my bicycle, etc.

Was just curious if anyone here had any recommendations for a quality one, I am guessing if I both want to charge my phone and plug my headphones in any actual audiophile options are out the window, but I am no expert in this field hence why I thought i'd ask here.

Thanks in advance.

Looks basically the same as I have now but with a brand on it, not sure if it actually will be better

Thanks though, i'll look into it

Might be worth finding out if your USB-C port provides analog audio (Audio Accessory Mode) however to sure if you can use this mode at the same time as charging your phone... thaknyou USB standard group for adding yet another optional spec to the list...

Well… Apple typeC-to-3.5mm is small cheap and does what it needs to do… and probably your best option… but sure don’t support a good product

I'm sure it will only half work on a android device, that's how apple tends to do it 😉

Not really, there is no 'half work' - it is an adapter that 'just' works (unless your port is 'charge only' for whatever reason). I have no idea what you do mean by 'apple tends to do it', elaborate.

Apple airtags are a good example, made to work just on apple devices

Yes but no. 'Made to work only with...' is a thing. There is no 'kinda works' or 'half works'. It is an accessory made for a specific device - no confusion there.

While an adapter as such is not 'made for Apple', it just an adapter.

Do you also look at Apple Pen or a Lightning cable and wonder why they don't work on non-Apple devices?

Do not put different things into the same bucket.

Shrug. Decent points, I suppose.

Either way, rather have something that also works with charging
