Acer Nitro 5 laptop screen issues.

So my friend's Acer Nitro 5 (Nitro 5 AN515-55) had this issue where while he was browsing the screen just turned into what the videos show.
After turning it on several times to a black screen and those other screens, it managed to boot into Windows Recovery and is fixed(?).
What might be the cause of this and how do we fix it?
Its running Windows 11 Home Single Language if that matters.

My guess is the dGPU gave it up and he’s running of his iGP ATM.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Fortunately its not dead, and we updated the drivers to be safe.
